Sometimes, through no fault of their own, dogs need to be re-homed. Although this can be difficult on any dog there are a special breed of people out there who have unlimited compassion and understanding and can bring new life to a rescue dog. If you’re one of these people and you would like to help a rescue Skye settle into a loving home there are a couple of things to consider first. The Skye is an incredibly loyal dog who bonds closely and strongly to its human. The path of rehoming is not always easy but with patience, dedication, love and time a rescue Skye can learn to share its love with a new family.
